AmeriCorps Program - Now Hiring

NSEA has hosted Washington Service Corps (WSC) placements since 1995.

The 10 1/2 month long, 1,700 hour experience provides valuable training for young professionals who are passionate about community-based salmon recovery.  

AmeriCorps positions will begin in September 2017 and end in July 2018.   Apply by July 7, 2017.

 The two Education Coordinator positions will work together to implement NSEA's community outreach and education programs, providing the building blocks for an improved environment, new partnerships, and increased community knowledge of watersheds. The position is approximately 60% field-based and 40% office-based.  Work weeks fluctuate and will include weekend and evening events.

NSEA’s AmeriCorps Volunteer Coordinator will plan, organize and implement community opportunities for salmon habitat restoration projects, helping to recruit, train, report and increase our volunteer capacity.
