The 10 1/2 month long, 1,700 hour experience provides valuable training for young professionals who are passionate about community-based salmon recovery.

The two Environmental Education Coordinator positions will work together to implement NSEA's community outreach and education programs, providing the building blocks for an improved environment, new partnerships, and increased community knowledge of watersheds. The position is approximately 60% field-based and 40% office-based. Work weeks fluctuate and will include weekend and evening events.
The two Environmental Stewardship Coordinator positions will work together to plan, organize, and implement community opportunities for salmon habitat restoration projects, stewardship events, and outreach programs. This position will focus on creating robust internship opportunities through our Future Leaders of Whatcom Waters (FLOW) Program by helping recruit, train, report, and increase our volunteer capacity. This position is approximately 60% field-based and 40% office-based. Work weeks fluctuate and will include weekend and evening events.
