Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service Work Party

"Everybody can be great...because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”
- Martin Luther King Jr.

Celebrate MLK Day by joining NSEA, the City of Bellingham Public Works and Parks and Recreation as we restore salmon habitat along Squalicum Creek at the Bay to Baker Trail re-route.  At the work party, volunteers will enhance the stream corridor by planting native trees and shrubs.

LocationPark at the end of West Orchard Drive off Meridian Street, then walk along the new trail to the work site.

Important: Unaccompanied minors under the age of 18 must bring a complete liability form to the work party.
