The snow has foiled plans once again! It is with deep sadness that we have to cancel the work party this weekend (February 23rd at Squalicum Creek). The restoration site continues to be covered in snow and our nursery plants remain frozen in their pots. Don't worry, NSEA has nine additional work parties this spring and we could use your help. Please join us in restoring salmon habitat every Saturday 9am-12pm March 2nd - April 27th.
Plant native trees to restore salmon habitat with NSEA along Squalicum Creek.
Parking and a shuttle to the site are available at NSEA’s Campus (3057 E Bakerview Rd.). Look for the blue NSEA tents!
We’ll bring the tools and gloves – all you have to do is wear sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
Light refreshments courtesy of The Bagelry and the Community Food Co-Op. Coffee provided thanks to NSEA’s official coffee sponsor, Tony’s Coffee.
Bring your friends, family, and enthusiasm and we’ll see you at the creek!
*Minors under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present or have a signed NSEA Youth Liability Form to participate.
