Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)
from your IRA
If you are 70½ or older, you can give up to $108,000 annually directly from your IRA:
The amount excludes the distribution from your taxable income.
It can satisfy all or part of your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD).
You do not need to itemize deductions to benefit.
Lower taxable income may reduce Social Security tax and Medicare premiums.
