Nursery Work Party

Help us upgrade our Native Plant Nursery and prepare for the fall planting season!

To kick off the 2023 fall season, we invite you to join us on our campus to help maintain and improve our nursery where over 10,000 trees and shrubs are housed before they are planted along salmon bearing streams. We will also prepare and store blue tubes that will help protect the plants throughout the season.

Prior registration is recommended for all volunteers to make checking in at the event much faster.

All volunteers under 18 years old must bring a new Youth Liability Waiver every time they volunteer, and anyone under 14 must also be accompanied by an adult. We have printed versions of this waiver at the event if you do not have access to a printer (make sure a parent/guardian is present to sign).

Parking is available at 3057 E Bakerview Rd. All tools, gloves, and instructions needed to volunteer with us will be available at the event. We also provide coffee and water, and there are restrooms onsite. You just need to bring weather-appropriate clothing, close-toed shoes, and water bottle.

If you are wondering what joining a Community Work Party looks like, check out this handy guide - What to Expect at a Work Party. Still don't know if a work party is a good fit for you or whether we can accommodate a specific need? Please reach out - we want everyone in our community to feel welcome and able to participate directly in salmon recovery and will work hard to ensure there is a space for you!
